Data Protection Notice

We, ALIEN BRAND EXPERIENCE produced by Sonnenfeld UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Feuerbachstrasse 56, 12163 Berlin, Germany, are responsible for this website within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR. This notice explains what personal data we collect, on what legal basis, and how we use it.

We only collect and process personal data where you have given consent, where a legal obligation applies, or where we have a legitimate interest that outweighs your rights in a given context. We apply the principle of data minimisation at all stages.

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our website without providing personal information. Each time a page is accessed, our web server automatically records a server log file containing the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the request, volume of data transferred, and the requesting provider. This data is used exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve our services. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Access data is deleted no later than seven days after your visit.

Third-party hosting

We use a third-party hosting provider to operate this website. Data may be processed on the provider's servers. Where processors are used, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

2. Data transfer to third parties

We do not sell or otherwise pass on your personal data to third parties for their own purposes. Data may be shared with authorities only where we are legally required to do so (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR). Where we use third-party services (see sections below), data may be transferred to those providers as described.

3. Recruiting data

If you apply to work with us, we collect contact details, information about your education, work experience, and skills, as well as any documents you voluntarily submit (e.g. cover letters, certificates). We do not request information protected under the General Equal Treatment Act. If we cannot offer you a position, your data will be retained for up to six months to respond to any queries about your application, then deleted. If we wish to retain your details for future vacancies, we will ask for your explicit consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR and, where applicable, Section 26 para. 1 BDSG.

4. Cookies, local storage and web analysis

Necessary cookies and local storage

We use technically necessary cookies and local storage entries to operate this website and to save your cookie consent preferences. These are set without your prior consent on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a functional website) and, where applicable, § 25 para. 2 TDDDG.

Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse how this website is used. GA4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Measurement ID: G-48V2DKWYXE
Purpose: Analysis of website usage to improve content, structure, and performance.
Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG.

GA4 is not loaded unless you actively consent to the Analytics category in the cookie banner. If you accept only necessary cookies or reject all, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google.

Google Consent Mode v2 is active on this website. Before any consent is given, all consent signals default to denied: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization. After you consent to Analytics, only analytics_storage is set to granted. The three advertising-related signals remain denied as we do not use any advertising or remarketing tags.

When GA4 is active, data about your use of this website — including a shortened IP address — may be transmitted to Google servers. A transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be excluded. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Additional safeguards such as standard contractual clauses may also apply. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking: Cookie settings

5. Google Fonts

This website currently loads Google Fonts via an external request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (subsidiary of Google LLC, USA). When a page loads, your browser establishes a connection to Google servers, which may result in your IP address being transmitted to Google. A transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be excluded. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in consistent visual presentation). Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We intend to migrate to self-hosted fonts to eliminate this external request. Until then, the above applies.

6. jsDelivr CDN

This website loads the CookieConsent library from jsDelivr, a content delivery network operated by Prospect One, ul. Krolowej Jadwigi 246B/7, 30-218 Kraków, Poland. When a page loads, your browser may connect to jsDelivr servers to retrieve this file, which may result in your IP address being transmitted. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in website operation). Further information: jsDelivr Privacy Policy.

Note: We plan to self-host the CookieConsent library to eliminate this external request.

7. External links to social media

This website contains links to our profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter). These are standard hyperlinks — no social media plugins are embedded. Clicking a link takes you to the respective platform, which may set its own cookies and collect data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We have no influence over this. No data is transmitted to these platforms merely by visiting our website.

Where we process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), you may object at any time with future effect. We will then cease processing for those purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
